Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,571 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Plattsburgh, New York. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of 10/19/2026, requiring 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including cardiac drips and insulin drips.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage patients recovering from cardiac procedures.
• Perform EKGs and intravenous insertions as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Provide telemetry monitoring and respond to alarms.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date.
• Completed onboarding with EPIC electronic medical record system experience within the past 2 years.
• New York RN license, or proof of application for licensure.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, rotating schedule.
• Weekend and holiday requirements.
• 36 hours per week for 16 weeks.
