Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,323 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Columbus, Ohio. Start date: November 2, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12‑hour shifts, days, nights, flexible. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who require close monitoring but are not unstable enough for ICU care.
• Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital signs, detect changes, and enable intervention for life‑threatening situations.
• Administer and titrate complex medications based on patient vital signs.
• Provide step‑down care for cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical, and ER holding patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PCU/step‑down setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
