About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Progressive Care Unit setting
- Work 48 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, nights
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient care accurately and timely
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
