Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,272 per week

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care in a cardiac progressive care unit setting.
• Manage chest tube and wound vac procedures as needed.
• Perform EKGs as indicated.
• Administer medications including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips.
• Participate in bedside and hourly rounding, ensuring patient needs are met.
• Follow unit-specific policies and procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech-HCA version.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members.

Requirements

• A current, active, unrestricted RN license in good standing.
• Current ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone drips.
• Experience in a progressive care unit setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of progressive care unit experience.
• Experience with critical care and emergency situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
