Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,227 per week
About the role
A large system in Nebraska/Iowa is looking for Night PCU RN's. 2 years as an RN, 1 year of unit experience. BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Perform basic life support and advanced cardiac life support as needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

- Proficiency in medical terminology and pharmacology.

Pay
Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. A large system in Nebraska/Iowa is offering a 13-week contract for Night PCU RN's. The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
