Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,201 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 31, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
• Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans accordingly.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers.
• Perform routine patient care tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Virginia.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in progressive care units preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of progressive care unit protocols and procedures.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
