Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $2,120 per week

About the role

Position: Travel Nurse RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit) in Morristown, New Jersey. Start Date: 09/28/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. As a PCU/Stepdown RN, you'll care for patients who are critically ill but stable enough to leave the ICU. You’ll monitor telemetry, administer complex medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition—all while playing a key role in patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients with high acuity needs
• Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry and vital signs
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and maintain care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, effective treatment
• Document interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry experience
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
• Experience with ventilator and drip management preferred

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12 hour shifts, nights, 36 hours per week.
