Travel PCU Registered Nurse - $1,998 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit assignment in Wilmington, North Carolina.

About the Role

This 13-week travel assignment starts on August 31, 2026, with a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours worked per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on the cardiac floor with a focus on cardiac telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units
• Perform sheath removal and interpret/manage dysrhythmias
• Care for post-MI and pre/post cardiac cath patients
• Manage cardiac drips (with and without titration)
• Handle chest tubes (Emerson/Pleuravac)
• Administer external CPAP/BIPAP and nasal cannula
• Perform non-invasive airway management
• Preferred: arterial line management, wound care/wound vac, and charge experience

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on the cardiac floor
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• NC or Compact nursing license (pending OK for submittal)
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Preferred charting system experience: Epic

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
