About the role
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 44-bed facility dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with neuro and trauma conditions. Our team is composed of 95 staff members, including registered nurses (RNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), and charge nurses, who focus on delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neuro and spinal checks
- Implement C-Collar placement and TLSO braces
- Manage chest tubes and PCA pumps
- Administer IV infusions and perform blood transfusions
- Oversee the placement of lumbar drains and feeding tubes
Requirements
- Active RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience in Neuro and Trauma Care is a must

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
