Travel PCU/Med Surg/Oncology RN - $2,807 per week
About the role
The facility in Eastern Nebraska is seeking several traveling Med-Surg nurses for 13-26 week contacts with 36-48 hour guarantees. Shifts are 12 hours long, either day or night.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Treatment of patients requiring close monitoring and specialized care
- Assist with daily patient care routines including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and other therapeutic interventions
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience in Med-Surg settings is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Current BLS certification (AHA Basic Life Support)
