Travel PCU/Med Surg/Oncology RN - $2,378 per week

Job Details

• Shift: 12H Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 36

Certifications Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• ONS/ONC certification required.

Training and Orientation

2 days of orientation provided. EPIC training provided if EPIC experience is not within 6 months.

Equipment and Competencies

• Ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000), ICP competencies required, with real-time training available.
• Common drips/medications include chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix.
• Alaris IV pumps and specialty equipment such as Lyko lifts available.

General Requirements

• Driver's license required at submission to verify 50-mile radius rule.
• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care departments.

Patient Care

• Patient population primarily adults in PCU, Oncology, and MedSurg settings.
• Common patient diagnoses include oncology and trauma.

Cultural and Team Dynamics

Teamwork, a genuine need to care for patients, and adaptability to diverse cultural, religious, and economic backgrounds are emphasized for success on the unit.

Additional Notes

• Not required to be a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Candidates may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility.
