Travel PCU/Med Surg/Oncology RN - $2,330 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Omaha, Nebraska.

About the Role

This travel nursing assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting on August 17, 2026. The role focuses on oncology care within a PCU setting, though strong PCU experience without oncology is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Progressive Care Unit, with a focus on oncology if experienced
• Manage common drips and medications such as Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix
• Operate respiratory equipment, including high-flow oxygen systems
• Use Epic EMR and Alaris IV Pumps
• Complete a pass/fail orientation exam with a minimum score of 90%

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PCU experience required; oncology experience preferred but not mandatory
• First-time travelers accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC and Chemo Certification preferred but not required
• BSN not required; active nursing license required for submission
• Valid driver’s license for radius rule compliance (outside 50 miles)
• No artificial nails permitted in patient care areas

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
