Travel PCU/Med-Surg/Oncology Registered Nurse - $2,378 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Omaha, Nebraska.

About the Role

This travel nursing assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting on August 17, 2026. The role focuses on oncology care within the PCU.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide care for oncology patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Serve as a charge nurse (minimum 1 year of experience required).
• Willingness to float to med/surg and PCU units.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, hemodynamic systems (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000), and ICP training (provided in real-time).
• Demonstrate teamwork, a positive attitude, and a genuine commitment to patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in PCU or oncology (preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• ONS/ONCC certification preferred (required for chemotherapy).
• Chemo certificate preferred but not required.
• Experience with EPIC within the last 6 months (noted but not mandatory).
• Valid driver’s license (required for 50-mile radius verification).
• No artificial nails in patient care departments.
• Must not be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-associated facility (including CHI and/or Dignity).

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
