Responsibilities

• Gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
• Specimen labeling
• Tissue preparation
• Frozen sections
• Pathology lab support

Requirements

• NYS license required
• BS in Biology or related science
• Pathologists' Assistant program certification or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) required
• ASCP certification preferred
• EPIC experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (37.5 hours per week, days).

Notes

• Flu vaccine required with no exceptions or exemptions.
• Parking is at the employee's expense.
