About the role
Talent4Health is seeking a travel Pathology Assistant for a 26-week position starting on August 10, 2026, in Edison, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Handle simple to complex anatomic pathology specimens
- Gross examination and dissection of specimens
- Specimen photography and documentation
- Frozen section assistance
- Strong laboratory information system (LIS) experience
- Excellent communication with pathologists, surgeons, and laboratory staff
- ASCP certified and currently active
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience required
- Bachelor's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program
- Degree in Health Sciences or another biological science discipline
- Master's degree preferred
- ASCP Certified Pathologists' Assistant (PA-ASCP) required
Qualifications
- No weekends or holidays
- No on-call responsibilities
- No evenings required
