Travel PACU RN - $2,613 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Clarkston, Washington. The position is for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate should have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess good stress‑coping skills and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years acceptable).
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
