Travel PACU RN - $2,557 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a PACU RN, you'll provide observation and care for post‑op patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia. PACU Travel Nurses offer a crucial care step between surgery and recovery, ensuring patients are monitored for any adverse reactions.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of easily lifting 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Good coping skills for stress in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours, days; 40 hours per week.
