This position emphasizes independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions aligned with established standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area. The RN's scope of practice encompasses care for individuals across all life stages, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients and formulate nursing diagnoses. Identify expected outcomes and develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care. Delegate appropriate tasks to other care providers as needed. Engage in shared accountability and participative decision-making for nursing practices. Utilize personal leadership qualities to define and implement best practice standards and enhance the care environment. Participate in improving customer care delivery and overall practice standards. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (ICU/ED) is required. Previous experience in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) is required. Prior travel nursing experience is required. Proficient in using Epic electronic health record systems. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required. Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms is necessary. Experience working with pediatric to geriatric patient populations is required. Experience in a Trauma Level I facility is required. Additional Requirements Must provide work history and a skills checklist relevant to the specialty. Two supervisory references with employment dates are required. Must clearly indicate any prior employment history with specified organizations. All requests for time off must be communicated at the time of application.
