NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing assignment in Livingston, Montana. Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care. Discipline: RN. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment type: Travel. Shift: 10‑hour days, 4×10 schedule (40 hours per week).

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery
• Assess vital signs, airway, pain, and overall patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
• Manage pain, nausea, and other post‑operative needs
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the care team
• Maintain accurate documentation and support patient safety

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Recent PACU experience required
• Strong assessment, critical‑thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced surgical environment

Pay

Pay range: $2,074.58 – $2,440.68 per week (based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
