About the role
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our PACU and Recovery team. The RN will provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment, assisting in the recovery process for patients post-surgery.
Schedule
- Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)
- 2 weekend call shifts a month required
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Administer patient care and ensure swift recovery post anesthesia
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans
- Administer medications including IVs and manage pain control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Phase I and II PACU or Recovery settings
- Active NY RN License required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS mandatory
- Competency in phlebotomy and IV placement is essential

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
