Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care. Discipline: RN. Start date: November 2, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour shifts, days, nights, flexible. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Assist patients recovering from anesthesia in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients as they wake from surgery until discharge to outpatient or transfer to the floor.
• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia, treating inpatients and outpatients according to their needs.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PACU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
