Travel PACU RN - $2,338 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract position for a PACU Registered Nurse. The role involves conducting postoperative assessments and monitoring recovery in the PACU, including providing pain management, implementing recovery protocols, and educating patients and families on postoperative care instructions, medications, and follow-up appointments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct postoperative assessments and monitor patient recovery.
  • Provide pain management and implement recovery protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on postoperative care, medications, and follow-up appointments.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of PACU experience.
  • Experience managing a ventilator.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Schedule

  • 8-hour day shifts with call requirements.
  • Call shifts: 1x per week (end of shift to beginning of next shift), 1x per month on weekends (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 24 hours).
