About the role

We are seeking a Trauma Certified Registered Nurse with experience in Critical Care or PACU to provide high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma facility. This is a 13-week travel contract position with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM). The schedule includes on-call responsibilities: two on-call shifts Monday to Friday and one 12-hour on-call shift on the weekend within a 6-week schedule. One summer and one winter on-call holiday are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care and support for adult and pediatric patients pre and post-operation.
• Utilize interdisciplinary support including social services and pharmacy.
• Monitor and interpret patient data, including vital signs and lab results.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician protocols.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality care standards.

Requirements

• TNCC, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care or PACU experience.
• Experience in Level I Trauma, ICU, and emergency care is mandatory.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Valid state nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Preferred experience in SICU, MICU, and CTICU.
• Solid background in ICU.
