About the role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Artesia, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care in the facility's PACU
- Rotate between preoperative and recovery phases
- Use electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact accepted)
- At least one year of recent PACU nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking, patient assessment, and communication skills
- Social Security Number required
- Date of Birth required
- Two references within the last 24 months
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certifications recommended
Pay
Pay Rate: $2225.00 - $2339.00
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- 8 hour shifts, days
- Start Date: ASAP (StartDate: 9/4/2026 available)
