About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Beaufort, South Carolina. Start date: 11/04/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 10-hour days, 40 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency placing nursing and allied travelers nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recovering patients from anesthesia in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
• Monitor patients as they wake from surgery until discharge to outpatient or transfer to inpatient floor.
• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from general, regional, and local anesthesia.
• Treat both inpatients and outpatients according to their individual needs.
• Administer diligent care through monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care PACU setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Compensation
