Schedule / Shift This position is for 3-12 hour shifts weekly. Primarily Monday to Friday dayshift; may rotate to weekends and night shifts as needed. There is a requirement of approximately 20 hours of call per schedule period. Job Description The PACU Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The nurse will rotate throughout Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II, caring for both adult and pediatric patients undergoing a variety of surgeries. Responsibilities Monitor patient status and vital signs during recovery from anesthesia. Administer medications and provide nursing care as needed. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort. Educate patients and families about postoperative care and recovery. Directly manage patient care during various phases including Pre-op, PACU, and Phase II. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required. Prior PACU experience is essential, with preference for Level 1 trauma experience. Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred. Why ARMStaffing?
