Responsibilities
- Plan, provide, and direct patient care using the nursing process
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure safe recovery after surgery
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, PACU
- Licenses: RN (Compact Accepted)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current Ohio RN license
- Critical care, emergency room, or telemetry experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications mandatory
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, medication administration, and medical procedures essential
- Strong communication, empathy, and critical thinking skills needed
- References: 1 Reference in entire work history
Preferred Qualifications
- CNOR certification
- Experience with post-anesthesia care
- Patient teaching experience
- Orientation of new personnel experience
