About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 26-week assignment starting August 24, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of post-anesthesia patients
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers
- Document patient care activities accurately
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in PACU preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Knowledge of anesthesia principles

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
