Job Details: Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse Location: Columbia, SC Setting: Hospital Pay Range: 1973.48 - 2072.15 Schedule: 07:30 - 18:00 Contract Length: 13 weeks Candidate Type: Traveler Requirements: ACLS, BLS, PALS; 2 years current experience in PACU; SC or Multi State/Compact RN license; Epic experience required; would prefer Critical Care training; 1 call night a week and 1 call weekend every 6 weeks; First-time travelers accepted; Requires managers' approval for block schedule; Local radius: 60 miles; On a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate; All RTO must be included at time of submission; Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Responsibilities: Provide specialized care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit to facilitate patient recovery. Monitor patient vitals and condition post-surgery, ensuring safety and comfort. Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Document patient information accurately using Epic charting system.
