VyTalent Solutions is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbia, South Carolina.

About the Role

This contract position is in a hospital setting, offering an opportunity to provide specialized care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role supports healthcare professionals with flexible opportunities designed to meet today’s workforce needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit to facilitate patient recovery.
  • Monitor patient vitals and condition post-surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  • Document patient information accurately using the Epic charting system.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns as necessary.

Requirements

  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
  • 2 years of current experience in PACU.
  • SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
  • Epic experience required.
  • Critical Care training preferred.
  • 1 call night per week and 1 call weekend every 6 weeks.
  • First-time travelers accepted.
  • Requires manager’s approval for block schedule.
  • Local radius: 60 miles (on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate).
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submission.
  • Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Pay

Pay range: $1,973.48 – $2,072.15 per week, based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

  • Shift: 07:30 – 18:00 (10 hours).
  • Duration: 13 weeks.
  • 40 hours per week.
