About the role
Travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, days
- Shift times: 09:30 to 22:00
- Options for 9 or 12 hour shifts
- On call 1–2 times per week, including 1 call weekend per month and 2 call holidays per year
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient recovery following surgery
- Administer medications, including critical drips
- Utilize advanced equipment such as bedside monitors and ventilators
- Perform bedside manipulations and ECT procedures
Requirements
- Current RN licensure
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- 1–2 years of experience in ICU or ER preferred
- One year of nursing experience on the floor
- Ventilator experience preferred
