ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours, days, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract (start date: 09/21/2026)

Unit details

The unit encompasses higher acuity cases, including thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring
• Administer medications and manage patient pain levels
• Assess patient conditions and perform necessary interventions
• Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients
• Participate in on-call coverage during holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU experience
• AHA ACLS and BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Holiday Expectations: MUST work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
