Travel PACU RN - $1,704 per week
About the role
The PACU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Nurses in this role will monitor patients undergoing recovery after anesthesia, manage post-operative symptoms, and ensure the safety and comfort of patients during their recovery period.
Responsibilities
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Assess and document patient progress and any changes in their condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care and symptoms to monitor.
- Collaborate with surgical teams and other medical professionals to ensure effective patient care.
Requirements
- Active RN license is required.
- Previous experience in PACU or critical care settings is preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification may be required.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position requires 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM, over the course of three nights weekly, including weekends.
