Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse in Aspirus Rhinelander. Start date: October 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. This position involves providing specialized after-surgical care to patients recovering from anesthesia, with a focus on safety, comfort, and monitoring. The role requires collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes during recovery.

Responsibilities

• Providing post-operative care
• Monitoring patient vital signs
• Managing patient recovery according to clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Associate Degree or Certificate in nursing
• Minimum 2+ years of PACU experience
• Charting experience in Epic electronic health record system
• Availability for the outlined schedule and call responsibilities
• During flu season, travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask
