About the role

The Registered Nurse for the PACU will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the post-anesthesia setting. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient recovery from anesthesia and manage pain effectively.
  • Provide immediate post-operative care and support to patients.
  • Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals.
  • Educate patients and families about post-operative care and recovery.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of general PACU experience is required.
  • Current RN License in the state of New Jersey.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This position requires an 8-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
