Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,385 per week

Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position involving specialized care in the post-anesthesia environment within a short-term acute care facility. The role requires the ability to work in preoperative, postoperative, and PACU settings, with a focus on patient safety, monitoring, and recovery.

Schedule

• Evening shifts, 10 hours per shift
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Willing to work during holiday periods

Required Qualifications

• Valid clinical certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• Experience with Epic charting system
• At least 1 year of PACU or related perioperative care experience
• Current state license (compact license accepted)
• Able to work in pre-op, post-op, and PACU
• Experience with end-tidal CO2 monitoring, airway assessment, airway management, and related procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center
• Neuro, ortho, or vascular surgery experience
• Familiarity with intraoperative procedures and critical care procedures

Additional Requirements

• Ability to float between units as necessary
• Candidates must have relevant experience in all phases of perioperative care and be capable of multitasking within a high-acuity environment
• Candidates are required to respond to specific questions regarding prior experience at Providence facilities
• Provide two recent references covering at least one year
• Demonstrate compliance with licensure and background policies
