Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,312 per week
About the role
A hospital in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota is in need of 2 PACU RN's to work an 8 week travel assignment. The nurses will be working 8 hour days with no call and no weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Assist with patient education regarding recovery and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Passionate about travel nursing and flexible scheduling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
