Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,075 per week

About the role

PACU Registered Nurse (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) for a 13‑week assignment starting 10/26/2026 at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, Washington. The role involves providing post‑anesthesia recovery care for a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, with a focus on surgeries requiring anesthetics and spinal anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Airway assessment
• Managing monitored anesthesia care
• Post‑epidural management
• Caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients undergoing vascular, orthopedic, neuro/spine, urology, and cardiovascular procedures

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• PALS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
• At least 1 year of overall nursing experience
• Ability to provide responses to recent employment at any Providence facility
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Qualifications

• Experience with Epic charting system (preferred)
• Trauma Level II experience (preferred)

Pay

Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

4×10‑hour days (09:00‑19:30) with a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends (once every 4 weeks), primary call shift, and secondary call shift in a 4‑week schedule period.
