Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $2,041 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week assignment in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Assist with patient recovery and monitor vital signs.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• At least one year of core experience in the specialty area.
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma and Teaching environments.
• Cerner EHR experience preferred.
• Pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam.

Qualifications

• Experience in PACU/Recovery units.
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including 12-hour shifts and nights.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using Cerner EHR.
