Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,975 per week
About the role
The facility in Espanola, New Mexico, is seeking a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) travel nurse for a 13-week contract.
Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
- Assist with patient recovery from anesthesia.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and ensure their comfort.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a registered nurse (RN).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Perioperative Nursing Certification (PALS) certification.
Qualifications
- Current licensure to practice as an RN in the state of New Mexico.
- Passing scores on ACLS, BLS, and PALS exams.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols.
