About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) travel position in a healthcare setting. This seasonal role involves providing postoperative recovery care to patients immediately following surgical procedures. The RN will work in a fast-paced recovery environment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide postoperative recovery care to patients immediately following surgical procedures
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols in a fast-paced recovery environment
• On-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Located within a reasonable distance from the facility

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Flexible with hours
• Prior experience with craniotomies or orthopedic procedures
• Excellent attitude and stress management skills
• Patient experience is a priority

Schedule

• Dayshift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
