Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,860 per week

About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialty Nurse opportunity in an acute care setting. The role involves providing high-quality postoperative care, including pre-op, post-op, and Phase I PACU responsibilities. The position requires a seasoned nurse with a strong team-oriented attitude, reliable and punctual, capable of floating within the department as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality postoperative care, including pre-op, post-op, and Phase I PACU responsibilities.
• Float within the department as needed.
• Be on time and ready to work at the start of each shift; punctuality is critical.
• Maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, adaptable, and dependable.

Requirements

• IL Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
• CPR certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• At least 3 years of solid core staff experience in an acute care setting
• At least 2 successful travel contracts
• Submission of an updated resume showing above requirements
• Two references (including at least one from a recent travel contract in the last year from a supervisor in the PACU)
• Updated skills checklist
• Valid IL licensure and certifications

Qualifications

Preferred: Contract extensions are considered a plus.

Schedule

10‑hour evening shifts, 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week. Assignment runs from 09/27/2026 to 11/08/2026.
