Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,815 per week
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN specialized in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) for a seasonal assignment in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment with a focus on pre- and post-procedure recovery, including cath lab, IR, and imaging procedures.
About the Role
The PACU unit has 12 beds and a team of 9 staff members, including 1 charge RN and 4 RNs. Responsibilities include preoperative and postoperative patient monitoring, sheath pull procedures, EKG interpretation, and groin watch experience. The unit operates on day shifts from 6 AM to 6:30 PM and features advanced equipment such as EKG, TR Bands, and Hoyer lifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-procedure recovery care in a high-acuity PACU setting
- Perform patient monitoring, sheath pull procedures, and EKG interpretation
- Manage groin watch experience and utilize advanced medical equipment
Requirements
- Current hospital PACU experience of at least 1 year
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid Colorado RN licensure
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience
- Ability to start on 09/28/2026 and commit through 12/28/2026
Schedule
- Day shift, 12 hours per shift (6 AM to 6:30 PM)
- 36 hours per week minimum
- No call or weekend requirements

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
