Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,815 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse will work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) caring for a diverse adult inpatient and outpatient population. Responsibilities involve close collaboration with the Holding unit, Operating Rooms, surgical providers, and anesthesia partners to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide postoperative care and monitoring of patients.
- Administer medications and manage patient pain effectively.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist in the recovery of patients, preparing them for discharge home or admission to other units.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; travel experience is mandatory.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Active SC RN license or multi-state/compact RN license is required prior to start.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care procedures.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule Night shift: 3x12-Hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM. No major holidays required.
