Travel PACU Registered Nurse - $1,777 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role is focused on the recovery of patients following surgical procedures, with an emphasis on critical monitoring and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and monitoring for post-operative patients in the PACU environment.
• Manage patients recovering from various surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spine surgeries, thoracotomies, and more.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies as needed.
• Perform assessments and interventions based on patients' vital signs and overall condition.
• Cook with surgical teams to facilitate smooth transitions to recovery.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of ICU experience and prior PACU experience required.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proficient in management of ALINE, chest tubes, and central lines.
• Experience with general GI/GU, vascular, and bariatric surgeries is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
