Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-anesthesia nursing care in a hospital setting
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients recovering from anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and discharge instructions
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in PreOp / PACU nursing
- Current BLS required (ACLS may be required depending on location)
- Valid RN license and/or certification in state of practice
- Valid Driver’s License
