Travel Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist - $2,995 per week

Schedule

Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• CCC-SLP certification
• Alaska licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Basic Life Support certification
• Outpatient pediatric and adult experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the position location

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in outpatient rehabilitation services
• Proficiency in community outreach and home assessments
• Familiarity with telehealth modalities

Additional Information

• Position involves providing comprehensive speech and language therapy in various settings including outpatient clinics, community events, and home visits
• Occasional multi-day travel to remote areas via boat or small plane, potentially in harsh weather conditions
• The role includes collaboration with medical teams, patient and family education, and maintaining accurate documentation
• The incumbent will assist with program development, participate in educational activities, and utilize hospital systems for documentation and communication
• Good judgment, tact, and cultural sensitivity are essential for positive interactions with patients and staff
• Adherence to all regulatory standards of Speech-Language Pathology and confidentiality protocols is required
