Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,798 per week
About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will assess and treat patients primarily with orthopedic and geriatric conditions, focusing on their rehabilitation needs.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with physical therapy staff to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring mobility and function.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and outcomes within the EPIC charting system.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation procedures and home exercises.
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Experience working with orthopedic patients is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with flexible scheduling options. Shifts will consist of 8 or 10 hour days, specifically on weekdays only.
