Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,729 per week
About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 26-week assignment in Yelm, Washington. This full-time, on-site position offers day shifts of up to 40 hours per week in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Requirements
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- Washington PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
Pay
$1,702.53 - $1,755.19 per week
Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts
- Up to 40 hours per week
