About the role

Critical Connection, Inc is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week position starting July 27, 2026, in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
  • Absorb and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide 1:1 patient care focused on functional improvement and recovery
  • Maintain a watchful eye on patient response to treatment and report progress to the supervising PT
  • Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities as appropriate
  • Accurately and timely document treatments and patient progress
  • Inform patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active (or pending) state PTA license
  • New Grad PTAs welcome
  • Outpatient experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Experience in an outpatient orthopedic / sports medicine setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
