Travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,675 per week
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient travel assignment in Kent, Washington. This role offers a traditional outpatient environment, working one-on-one with patients to improve strength, mobility, function, and help them return to the activities they enjoy.
About the Role
- 13-week travel assignment in an outpatient setting
- Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
- 8-hour day shifts
- Primarily orthopedic caseload, including post-operative and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Hands-on therapeutic exercise and functional training
- Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists and the outpatient rehab team
Responsibilities
- Provide treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Carry out individualized plans of care
- Administer therapeutic exercise, strengthening, mobility, and functional training
- Treat orthopedic and post-operative conditions
- Educate patients on exercises and injury prevention
- Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Complete timely clinical documentation
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Washington PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Strong orthopedic treatment skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Previous outpatient experience preferred
